Collection of Information
We collect personally identifiable information, like names, mailing addresses, email addresses, etc., when submitted by our users. The information you provide is used to fulfill your event registration or merchandise purchase. The information will be made available to (a) the event promoter of the event you register for or make a purchase from and (b) the credit card processor responsible for processing your payment. Your name may also be listed on the event's roster of registered participants on swiftentry.com if the event promoter has elected to display participant lists.
Commitment to Data Security
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors have access to this information. Your credit card details, including credit card number and expiration date, will never be stored by SwiftEntry in a database or hard drive file system. Account passwords are stored in encrypted form using a one-way hash function, meaning it is impossible to decrypt the actual password from the value stored in our database.
Transmission of passwords and credit card details across networks is carried out over a secure, encrypted connection using industry standard SSL protocols.
SwiftEntry may use cookie and tracking technology for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use the site. Cookies are also used to manage user sessions while the user is logged in. Personal information will not be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.
Distribution of Information
As previously stated, SwiftEntry will provide your information to event promoters for the purpose of event registration or purchase delivery.
We may also share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes.
